It with great sadness that we announce the passing of our lovely garden club member Ela Klein, garden club leader of the Wimbush House gardening club. She was incredibly popular among our members and her perpetual positivity and contagious smile will be sorely missed.
Ela loved to garden and her garden club won the Geoff Bedingfield award for outstanding gardening in 2014. She had been battling cancer for years and once said “Gardening helps me to stay positive and strong through my illness and most importantly the garden is a great place for the residents of Wimbush to come together and enjoy themselves.”
The garden at Wimbush will be a beautiful reminder of her joyful personality.
